Shift work rules for working overtime
Day Shift rules
- Day Shift includes DS, OTD, FA, TR, LT. If person is on any of these activities, it is counted as Day Shift.
- If person is OFF today and on DS tomorrow, person can work OTD.
- If person was on NS yesterday and OFF today, person can work OTN.
- If person was on NS two days ago and OFF yesterday and OFF tomorrow, person can work both OTD and OTN.
- If person was on DS yesterday and NS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on DS yesterday and DS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on NS yesterday and NS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on NS yesterday and DS today, person cannot work today.
Night Shift rules
- Night Shift includes NS and OTN. If person is on any of these activities, it is counted as Night Shift.
- If person was on NS yesterday and OFF today, person can work OTN.
- If person was on DS yesterday and NS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on DS yesterday and DS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on NS yesterday and NS today, person cannot work today.
- If person was on NS yesterday and DS today, person cannot work today.

- Should people available for OT come from only people on the current schedule?
